Come Join the Fiesta! The CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA, INC. is a non-profit organization incorporated in August 2000 within the state of Louisiana. We are a tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization, which was established to represent the Hispanic Community throughout the Northwest Louisiana region. The three primary goals of the Shreveport/Bossier City CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA are: to promote higher education; enhance cultural awareness; and increase community involvement. The first has been achieved through a continued academic scholarship program for individuals of Hispanic descent throughout the state of Louisiana. With events such as the Fiesta, we can continue this outstanding recognition initiative. The second and third have also been accomplished through a variety of fundraising events throughout Northwest Louisiana, including participation in a number of civic events, speaking engagements, and local public school visibility activities.
